FIU researchers installed innovative 3D-printed seawall tiles at Morningside Park designed to strengthen coastal resilience while creating habitat for marine life. The project will also monitor water quality and marine growth to help shape the future of sustainable shoreline protection.

FIU students made an impressive return to the 2026 Future Business Leaders of America Collegiate National Leadership Conference, bringing home multiple national awards in the chapter's first national competition since 2022.

Supported by FIU Business, students earned top finishes in computer science, marketing and emerging business issues while gaining valuable leadership, teamwork and presentation experience. Their success highlights the growing momentum of FIU's FBLA chapter and sets the stage for an even stronger future.
