Just when you thought there were enough World War II movies out there comes a story that most may not even know happened. How big a factor was weather during D-Day and the invasion of Normandy? A big one apparently! tells the true story (actual, not just “based on” of the events leading up to June 6 and I enjoyed it! Great performance from Andrew Scott that’s worth seeing!

I grew up in Washington State, where I’ve always felt most at home in nature and the outdoors. So when invited me on a trip back to Whidbey Island, I was over the moon. There’s nothing like breathing that crisp Pacific Northwest air again.
For years I struggled to find pieces that looked good and could actually stand the test of time. That all changed when I discovered Filson. One of my favorite looks from the trip was this classic denim jacket paired with their workwear denim—effortless, durable, and something I could comfortably wear from sunrise to sunset. Finished it off with my go-to x sneakers.
P.S. For all the Practical Magic fans out there — you must visit Coupeville on Whidbey Island (where they shot the film). Trust me, fans will instantly understand the song choice on my post 😉
