Florida gives you sunshine, but it also gives you heat that does not play around. Step outside at the wrong time and you feel it right away.
Humidity adds another layer that visitors rarely expect. It slows you down, changes your pace, and makes shade feel like a hidden luxury.
Prepare for it and you will enjoy everything more. Water, sunscreen, and timing make all the difference when you explore under that strong sun ☀️🌴

BREAKING: After calling for six more weeks of winter... and then giving Florida one “cool morning,” three fake cold fronts, and a random 90° day with 100% humidity... Phil’s run is officially over. 🐊🌴
Sources say the final weather mood swing was the last straw.
One forecast too many.
Authorities caught up with Phil down in the Everglades, posted up like it was already summer.
Sun blazing.
Water rising.
Zero regrets.
Phil was out there soaking it in like Florida didn’t just go from “grab a hoodie” at 6AM...
to full sweat by noon...
to thunderstorm warnings by 3PM out of nowhere. 🌧️
Officials say this wasn’t a vacation — this was an escape attempt.
But Florida weather don’t forget.
Now he’s in custody, still looking unbothered, like he’s trying to figure out how it rained on one side of the street… but not the other.
Authorities confirmed this isn’t just about the forecast...
it’s about emotional damage.
Because in Florida, you don’t just predict the weather...
you survive it.

So true 👍 👌
People in Florida don’t give directions using street names.
They give landmark chaos.
“Go past the gas station that used to be a bait shop… it’s a v**e store now.”
“Turn left at the light that’s been blinking yellow since 2008.”
“If you hit the road where that gator was crossing last summer, you went too far.”
“Keep going until you see the giant inflatable palm tree… if it’s gone, you missed it.”
None of these landmarks are permanent.
Half of them move.
The other half don’t technically exist.
But somehow…
everyone still knows exactly where they are.
