For over thirty years, G E R C I has been synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship. It creates custom-made wedding, Sweet Sixteen, beauty pageant, prom, and unique occasion gowns tailored to celebrate individuality and elegance. Each creation embodies a commitment to excellence and is designed to fulfill every client's unique vision. The G E R C I journey began in 2004 when Yohanna and Stephen Gursey founded YGG Designs LLC and opened a boutique in Garfield, New Jersey, USA. The boutique quickly earned acclaim for its personalized service and meticulous attention to detail. However, the economic challenges of the 2008 recession forced the company to adapt, moving its operations to a home-based model, known as the Gursey home family, in 2009. During this time, the Gurseys balanced running their business by furthering their education and freelancing for prominent fashion companies in New York City. This period of growth enriched their expertise and deepened their industry connections. The global pandemic of 2020 presented new challenges, but Gursey’s resilience and passion kept the dream alive. By 2022, they embraced a renewed vision for the future, rebranding as G E R C I LLC to honor their family name and establish a deeper connection with their audience.
