Last week, the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released their latest update to their Sixth Assessment Report on Climate Change.

While it’s no surprise they reported we are still living in a climate crisis (even more dire today than before), there was a positive outlook into the future. One of the key messages was that achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050 IS possible!

With collaboration from governments, corporations, and individuals, global warming can be tackled and reversed. A lot of the hope for a cleaner future will actually depend on the future of renewable energy, with solar and wind taking the lead in a creating a zero-fossil-fuel future possible.

“It’s now or never”, thankfully, we have many of the solutions we need at hand.

China is currently the country that emits the most carbon dioxide (CO2) in the world. 💨🏭

However, it is also the one that invests the most in renewable energies, mainly in solar energy.🍃

🐼Their newest venture in the area is a panda-shaped solar plant. In fact, the project foresees the construction of several solar plants in the country, to help reduce the emission of greenhouse gases.
