The benches in Belarus are huge!!! 😂 OK, not all of them are, but the ones located just outside the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War are! Belarus recently changed their visa requirements making it much easier to visit their country. Nice!!! A little known fact-Minsk, Belarus just hosted the 2019 European Games that saw participants from 50 different countries. With an average daily price to travel in Belarus at $20, it’s a great option for budget-conscious travelers, digital nomads, and anyone curious about learning what life is like in a modern, post-Soviet state. The capital, Minsk, is about a 40-55 minute ride from the Minsk National Airport(MSQ), and has great public transportation throughout the city. Hearty food. Great beer. Cool architecture. Interesting history. Friendly peeps. For a country that few people view as a vacation destination, Belarus continues to impress me.

I live to travel, meet people from other countries, gain experience from other cultures, and eat pizza. That said, I have found no better place in the world that I would want to call home. To celebrate our independence here in the USA, a federal holiday, we are gonna blow s**t up, eat barbecue, float around on boats, parade, picnic, go running, sing, drink tons of beer, dance, laze around, and numerous other forms of general f**kery. We’ll top it all off by pi***ng the night away while still managing to post gratuitous pics and videos fireworks that all essentially look the same from year to year. Wooooo!!! Come tomorrow we’ll be back to work like nothing even happened. Happy 4th of July from my favorite gd place in the world! 🇺🇸🍗☀️🎇
