I am not exempt from that. I have made decisions in my career that I would make differently today. And sitting with that discomfort is exactly what made me a better leader. The moment you understand that your comfort can come at a child's expense, everything changes.

That kind of self-awareness is what District 4 needs in a board member. Someone who has already done the hard work on themselves and is not afraid to keep doing it.
