El año 2024 terminó en calma y comenzó de la misma manera. Que esa calma sea la fuerza que impulse los proyectos trazados. Que el amarillo, en todas sus expresiones, ilumine mi camino en este año venidero.

This coffee was thought of, made, and finally enjoyed late at 5 PM! It’s recommended not to drink coffee after 4 PM so we can rest without messing with our circadian rhythm. But, how can we not mess with everything when, since the Industrial Revolution, nothing has been normal? We’ve normalized consumerism at a monstrous speed and everything else that has brought us to this point.

As I write this, it feels almost impossible to stop because of the constant overstimulation. If anyone reads this, I hope you can slow down a little, take whatever you need to feel better—a warm shower, a cup of herbal tea, a deep breath, some rest… anything.

Let’s care for ourselves and each other, retail family. And to everyone else: be kind to retail workers.

With 27 days left in 2024, the biggest lesson I’m taking with me is this: you never truly finish discovering people. Letting go can be bittersweet, but it makes room for new experiences, collisions of worlds, and unexpected connections.

This is for someone I had to release a fleeting star, a soft and gentle light that gifted me new sounds and perspectives. It was brief, but it left silent, beautiful, and innocent memories.
