Miranda Lambert and Ella Langley with their dogs is enough to make your whole day better.

These two have built one of the strongest mentor-mentee relationships in country music. They co-wrote "Choosin' Texas" together and co-produced the Dandelion album. But what a lot of people do not realize is that their bond goes beyond the music. They are both passionate rescue dog advocates who have dedicated real time and resources to saving animals.

Miranda founded the MuttNation Foundation, one of the most impactful animal rescue organizations in the genre. She adopted her dog Bellamy from Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Florida back in 2013.

Ella just adopted her puppy, Joan, from that exact same shelter. She is also a founding board member of The Pawsitive Rescue Division, a nonprofit dedicated to finding rescue dogs their forever homes. Joan joins Crue and Bee at home.
