Kaspary Design

This residence in Queens, New York combines contemporary architecture with European influences. A light stone façade, tall steel-framed windows, and clean proportions give it a timeless appearance and fill the interiors with natural light.

One of the most interesting features of the property is its layout. The residence consists of two separate buildings connected by a private courtyard. A symmetrical garden with a central fountain sits between them, becoming the heart of the project and the main outdoor gathering space.

The property also includes spacious terraces, outdoor seating areas, a detached guest house, a private basketball court, and landscaped gardens that surround both buildings.

Natural stone is used throughout the exterior, paired with metal roofing, glass railings, and ornamental architectural details. The material palette stays consistent across the entire property, giving both buildings the same architectural language.

The architecture and landscape were designed to work together. The result is a balanced composition where the buildings, courtyard, and garden feel like one complete project.

For the client, it was important that not only the main areas, but even the bedrooms and the powder room feel refined and luxurious.

The guest suite was designed with the same intention — to create a comfortable experience for anyone staying here.

We built the bedroom around a calm, balanced palette and soft, layered textures.
Deep blue accents were introduced through textiles to add contrast and depth.

We used fully upholstered forms to make the space feel soft and tactile. Symmetry keeps everything structured and calm.

The chandelier introduces a sense of luxury through reflection and scale.
Warm metal details reinforce this effect, adding shine and depth. Wall panels act as a decorative layer.

In the bathroom, we continued the same language but made it more minimal and architectural.

We used natural stone as the main material and laid the tile in a herringbone pattern, giving the space a more refined and elevated look.

The vanity is going to be a custom piece — with a sculptural front and metal framing, so it works as a focal point against the stone.

We kept the palette soft and neutral, and used layered lighting to create a calm, balanced atmosphere.
Fluted glass adds texture and privacy and keeps the space light.
