“These moves fit the vision,” Friedland said Tuesday in his Surfside office. “This is the way I think a 21st century Sports team, with these kinds of projects on the horizon, needs to be set up.”

Sports Records, spearheaded by Kyle Parker and Jacob Friedland, has generated nine releases, 50+ parties, and an unmistakable house sound that is sleek and sexy. Turntable fodder aside, the label is known for its funk-filled parties at Floyd and at warehouses across the Magic City, so the uninitiated will have plenty of opportunities to savor their production cred.

We’re also celebrating our 8 Year anniversary this year with DJ Masda at November 15.
