An individual that is experiencing a fentanyl overdose might experience different symptoms. Some of these might include drowsiness, low blood pressure, dizziness, limp body, nausea, vomiting, cold and clammy skin, decreased heart rate, changes in pupillary size, blue colored lips and fingernails, decreased heart rate, slowed or stopped breathing, coma, and loss of consciousness.
It has been reported that one of the most commonly described characteristics of fentanyl overdose is the rapid speed of onset of symptoms. Reports say that 75% of individuals interviewed said that symptoms of an overdoses occurred within seconds to minutes.
