Braslovsky is my nome de plume I use for all paintings because it was my family's original Russian name upon their immigration into the USA in the late 19th century. Passion and the subconscious produced this painting during a stormy night. I feel my Russian soul as dark, passionate, defiant, independent, fearless and elegant. Intellectualism and spirituality combine to create power of the self and self-expressionism.
