MOTIVATION 🥊
"It isn't what you did in the past that will affect the present. It's what you do in the present that will redeem the past thereby change the future."
- Aleph Paulo Coelho
I have clients that thrive from being told NO or YOU WONT BE ABLE TO CHANGE or MAKE IT HAPPEN
AND then I have clients who fall victim to these words and believe these lies spoken by others who cannot see the reality of their potential

Individuals, Couples and families. All struggling & more often than not, with similar concerns.
Why is it that we raise awareness and charities for many things, especially physical health ailments, but mental health isn’t something advertised in that way, when in reality we all know someone suffering; maybe that person is you.
Science has proven that many (most) physical ailments have a root cause of mental health. Many people have been healed or dramatically improved their physical ailments by simply focusing on their mental health and nutrients.
Our subconscious- that is the key. What our memory keeps locked inside our subconscious mind, alters our biochemical neurons.
Haven’t you heard of people diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, given a few months to live and because of their “positive thinking” they miraculously survive.
Why is it when someone has a physical ailment that we can SEE, we think to ourselves, “awe” but someone who suffers with mental health, we do not give that same response.
Sometimes mental health diagnosis are far more debilitating than physical.
They should be treated with the same compassion and respect.
I guarantee if anyone spent 1 day in someone’s life who had debilitating anxiety, depression or OCD, or schizophrenia or bipolar- they would NEVER perceive mental health so nonchalantly & they would raise awareness.
I have witnessed some of the most complex mental health diagnosis’- like a client who has 30 different personalities (DID) & sadly no government funding or private care will help her & she cannot afford it.
I posted a few years ago about this client and tried to raise awareness & money for her and begin a charity & sadly, only my stepfather donated.
I believe that we should help those, who try to help themselves. I do not believe everyone should have privileges because people 100% abuse the system, but there are people who NEED help and those are the ones who should be given that unconditional support and compassion.
There is much more to this movement of awareness that needs to be taken into consideration.
We should not just speak about it, but actually do something about it!

What humans NEED:
1. Stability - to know that they have a routine or something consistent in their life that provides the necessities AND enough of it (safe home, food, water, clothes, medical)
2. Structure - routine and rituals that provide a person with the feeling of being in the “know” - the unknown is what most fear and causes anxiety and depression
3. Reassurance- even the most confident people need reassurance at times- it’s human nature to want to feel like we are doing the “right” thing- that is why people love compliments, praise, rewards from careers to acknowledge efforts or children love allowance and positive reinforcement
4. Respect/Trust- Everyone wants to feel respected and trust the people they are connected to; otherwise you will feel anxious and constantly in a state of survival
5. Being heard- there is a difference between thinking you’re heard and actually being heard- we all want to know we have someone who listens to what we say. That is why children constantly say, “look, look,” on repeat until you give them attention or adults like you to look them in the eye while speaking and give undivided attention.
6. Human Connection - To be lover, cared for, intellectually connect, emotionally connect, intimately connect. (Family, Friends, Co-workers, Significant other)
