Last Saturday we gathered, we cleaned, we planted 🌱
In awe of how much life the land already has, and so grateful for my Buddy System MIA team and Overtown Farms Inc. for bringing people together for such a beautiful project.
Updates: Our container arrived, and we were able to see it for the first time! The fundraising continues because now we need supplies to fill it ⤵️

Recap of our last monthly distribution! (5/16/26)

Our Homebound Food Access + Trans Food Assistance + Walk up food distribution happens every 3rd Saturday of the month!

Last week, we had the opportunity to rescue food from the event! Thank you so much for thinking of us and making sure all that good food didn’t go to waste! 💙🙏
We were able to save an abundance of food and stock our community fridges, where one neighbor came out and told us how grateful they were for the ready-made food 🥹

We’re partnering with to build and open The Peoples Pantry! Together, we are creating a space for the people, by the people - where everyone can count on fresh food, every week 🌟
For years, we have shown up wherever food is needed. This new chapter is us shifting from emergency response to rooted, consistent care 💙
