Tesla, the most valuable auto company focusing on electric vehicles, has ironically been removed from the ESG Sustainability Index. The S&P Dow Jones Indices, who control the index, declared that Tesla has been cut regarding issues over racial discrimination and crashes linked to its autopilot vehicles. The company’s CEO, Elon Musk, has responded with angry tweets declaring that “ESG is a scam”. On another Elon note, Musk has also been accused of sexual misconduct from a flight attendant and then paying her $250,000 for her silence.
