Missing those Bahama blues 🌊

Photos from Sailing Butters's post 06/30/2022

Today we leave Ocracoke island with a new crew member, Dan from soon to be Kida!

Ocracoke is an island in North Carolina that is only accessible by boat and is full of history. The island has one small village, miles of untouched sandy beaches, and even some graves of brave sailors from WWII. The nature is beautiful and the locals couldn’t be lovelier.

Dan is a local we met by chance who just so happens to be a soon to be Seawind owner himself and is about to jump into a life on the sea. We are happy to have him joining us for our trek to Annapolis.

Back in Georgetown, Exuma to shelter from potential weather coming our way from the West. Exuma has been an absolute blast so far: we met many great people, dolphins, sharks, all hanging out and having a good time. Exuma life is nature oriented and there’s mostly no bars & restaurants around. So we’re enjoying hanging out on each other’s boats, being chefs, bartenders, and hunters 👌. We will head back up north towards USA once the storm clears!
