We share this with a heavy heart. Friends and family will be gathering today in Santa Marta (Colombia) for a music filled farewell to our friends Shakti and Naty.⠀

They were recently taken from us in a senseless act of violence that is becoming all too common these days.⠀

When we think about the origins of Lucid Project and the direction we’re headed, it’s easy to see how influential the two of them have been. It’s for that reason we’ll be starting The Shakti & Ananda Fund.⠀

(Ananda was Naty’s DJ name - she was dope too!)⠀
⠀
Proceeds from the fund will go to causes that the they were most passionate about. Indigenous music, people, and culture. Biodiversity and protecting our planet. Animal welfare, etc.⠀

We’ll be donating a percentage of our ticket sales from all upcoming Aluna events. Tomorrow’s Dreamcast will be a special tribute with more info about donating to the cause!⠀
