How blessed am I that while strolling a farmer’s market.. someone thinks of me!

Usually there’s a cookbook sitting on Island, ready for a quick flip through to keep my culinary brain sharp and me thinking creatively.

This month, I opted for flowers instead.

Excited to dig into Black Flora by Teresa J. Speight, a beautiful collection highlighting the work and stories of Black growers, florists, designers, and horticulturists who are shaping the future of floriculture.

Looking forward to learning from a whole new corner of the creative world.
