Ensuring you have a good credit score is important but having a PERFECT credit score is not necessary to buy a home.

Here to debunk another myth! 👉

Most buyers are under the assumption that their closing costs are covered by their down payment. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. ❌

If you're unfamiliar with closing costs, they are processing fees that you pay to your lender in exchange for creating and finalizing your loan. Closing costs cover things like the price of your appraisal and your title insurance. 💰

Like your down payment, closing costs are due when you close on your home’s loan. Closing costs are independent from your down payment and can range between 2% – 6% of the total balance of your loan.

A workaround to this, is having your Realtor negotiate Seller Concessions. This is when a seller covers a percentage of your closing costs.💸

There are limits to how much the seller can contribute but this is a great option for buyers!
