Fairfax Water is proud to join WSSC Water, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and regional leaders in launching Secure the Source, a landmark $25 million, two‑year study to strengthen our drinking water supply . This historic collaboration aims to identify large‑scale backup solutions capable of providing several weeks of emergency water for over 5 million people across Maryland, Virginia, and D.C., all of whom rely on the Potomac River.
