What an incredible week at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference!

Over the past week, our students experienced all that NLSC has to offer, not just the competitions, but also the leadership sessions, networking, and community experiences. They embraced every opportunity and demonstrated the skill, professionalism, and determination that brought them to Atlanta. We think they had a little fun along the way, too!

We're proud of all they accomplished this week and grateful for the experiences, memories, and friendships they've gained.

Our talented students have officially touched down in Atlanta for the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC) this week! They are ready to show the nation what Idaho is made of and truly "Champion Your Future."

What is the SkillsUSA Championship?
It’s the absolute pinnacle of career and technical education. This week, more than 6,500 state champions from across the country will go head-to-head in 115+ distinct hands-on technical, skilled, and leadership competitions. It’s an elite showcase of work-ready skills and technical excellence.

MTCHS has a proud, proven history at the national level. Our students consistently bring home gold, silver, and bronze medals, proving year after year that their hard work, technical prowess, and dedication rank among the absolute best in the nation. We can't wait to see them continue that legacy!

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗦 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 is back for the summer of 2026! We’ve shifted our schedule so both camp levels can beat the afternoon heat and dive into innovation bright and early.

Campers ages 10-13 will get a high-value, hands-on experience:

🤖 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 & 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞: Use block code to power virtual robots through complex arenas.
📈 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝: Learn to market their creations like true entrepreneurs.
💼 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩: Practice essential workplace skills and connect their projects to real-world STEM careers.
🎤 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞: Parents are invited to attend the final 15 minutes of the session on June 11th to see the results in action!
