Heritage Middle School opened in 2007 and is within walking distance just north of McMillan. Rocky Mountain High School opened in 2010 and is less than two miles away. (Bus pickup for Rocky Mountain is within the subdivision)

Settlers Park is just over a mile away to our southwest. This park includes a public splash park, a large and well-equipped playground, and a great deal of open space and team sports facilities. McDevitt Youth Complex is less than two miles east from us. It has a skate park and a large sports complex. The Village at Meridian is just a few miles away and offers vast retail, dining, and entertainment options.
