Well, this was unexpected.

Last night I ended up on the lead story on KTVB. The reason?

Micron Technology continues it's amazing run and just had one of the most remarkable nights in its history -- record earnings, stock up huge, and a company that started in a Boise dentist's basement is now worth over a trillion dollars.

What that means for a lot of people right here in our community is pretty incredible.

I sat across from a man in his 60s last week who got emotional because he never thought he'd see that many zeros next to his name.

32 years at Micron, held on to his shares while others sold, and it finally paid off.

Now he's retiring early and spending time with his granddaughter.
