I thought I would clarify the meaning of a sideways cross. I had a mother of 3 come to my booth on Saturday. She had quietly told her kiddo the sideways cross was bad symbol of the cross.

I want to clear the air as this is not a satanic or unchristian based meaning. It actually is the following meaning below of Jesus carrying the cross and all our burdens.

Fact:
Many Christians view the sideways cross as symbolic of Jesus' laying down the cross for others and their duty to pick up the cross and carry it.

JESUS’S SALVATION:
According to some Christians, the inverted cross symbolizes Jesus achieving salvation. This is believed because when a cross is horizontal, it seems like it is being carried on someone’s back. This concept was linked to Jesus’s salvation as he struggled throughout his life and laid down the cross on his back.

To some, the sideways cross meaning is a remembrance of what Jesus had done, while to others, it is a symbol to display their religion and faith.
