Today we celebrate a teacher who has completely transformed her classroom into something truly magical.

Over the last two years, Ms. Kayla has embraced a child-led, play-based approach that puts children's interests, curiosity, and voices at the center of everything she does. Her classroom is a place where learning comes alive because it is driven by the children themselves. She is hands-on, intentional, and incredibly in tune with the needs of her students.

But what makes Ms. Kayla truly special isn't just what she does in the classroom—it's who she is as a teammate. She is always willing to jump in and help wherever needed, brings positivity to every room she enters, and somehow manages to make even the busiest days more fun. Her wicked sense of humor, contagious smile, and genuine love for children make Ten Mile Academy a better place to work and learn.

While we're celebrating two years in her current role, Ms. Kayla has been part of the Ten Mile Academy family on and off for nearly a decade. She knows the expectations, understands the mission, and consistently rises to the occasion. She doesn't just know the assignment—she exceeds it every single day.

🎨 🌟 Painting with parents was a success 🌟 🎨

We had such an amazing time watching our TMA families come together to laugh, paint, create, and make memories side-by-side. From colorful masterpieces to silly painted covered moments, the room was full of smiles and creativity all evening long.

Thank you to all of our families who joined and helped make this event so special. Events like these remind us how lucky we are to have such an incredible community here at TMA.

Come join us on the 22nd from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM for a fun FREE community event full of painting, plants, and creativity! 🌼✨

We’ll provide the pots, paint, and all the supplies needed to decorate your very own flower pot. Bring the kiddos, your friends, or the whole family and enjoy a relaxing evening making memories together. 🌱💚
