We received this beautiful 4th of July celebration from Lori Milburn and we’re super thrilled to see Luna on top of the staircase adopted from Shadow Husky Rescue, Inc. in 2022 and featuring the “perfect” Sassy now Frida at the bottom of the staircase. ⬇️WE’RE DOING THIS❣️When we rescued SKYE fka Hope ID #26-12672 from SEAACA shelter on 6/25 with Sarah Elizabeth Yasha's mom and SEAACA shelter volunteer’s help little did we know she has severe cranial cruciate ligament tears in both knees. When we found out yesterday we were FLABBERGASTED because we already have SNOWY with hip dysplasia. Both dogs are young. The medical conditions are SEVERE + if untreated will cause enormous injuries in the future. Skye is older and has been living with chronic pain for some time. Dr. Keeshan said it’s URGENT to do TPLO surgery for her ASAP. SKYE’s estimate for 1 leg scheduled for 7/9/2026 is 💲8,000 including spay if she gets over her kennel cough. That’s in addition to the 💲1,500 paid yesterday for consult, x-rays +pain meds. Then 4 weeks later he’ll do surgery on the other leg. WE ARE BEGGING FOR HELP FOR SKYE. IF YOU CAN DONATE A LITTLE BIT / EVEN A LITTLE BIT MORE IT WILL MAKE A HUGE IMPACT. MATCHING EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTIONS CAN ALSO HELP TREMENDOUSLY. Snowy will need hip replacement in the future if her $500 weekly physical therapy does not help. That surgery will cost $10,000 per hip ($20,000 total), but we’re not there with Snowy yet. We are looking at approx $40,000 in costs for the coming months just for these 2 precious girls. NOW we are focusing on SKYE. We always are 100% transparent + seek the best professional veterinary medical care for all of our huskies. Surgery costs have doubled in the past few years it’s increasingly difficult to manage our rescues, +we are now devoting 24/7 care for our sanctuary dogs while continuing to pull huskies whenever we have adopters and fosters. We will continue to work diligently to help support our huskies in need.

Master Wolf with Shadow Husky Rescue has a very cute and playful husky named Sol needing a loving home soon! Sol is out of Menifee Ca. Not far from our offices. Here is what the owner had to say~

“Good morning Tim
Thank you and the community for helping us out. There have been many life changes in my family’s life and health complications that prevent us from giving Sol the attention that she deserves, and we hope that with your help we can find a forever home for her.
Sol is a 5-year-old female (fixed) Siberian Husky. She is very playful and enjoys fetch and walks. She is crate-trained and enjoys being outdoors. She is very calm at 40 to 45 pounds
and can also be indoors. Sol is an incredibly affectionate dog; she enjoys being pet and played with. Sol is great around small children, other dogs of all sizes, and cats. Sol absolutely loves going for walks and visiting the dog park to socialize with other dogs. Sol immediately lights up when you talk to her, especially if you mention she is going for a walk. Initially, she may be overly excited on a leash but does settle after a few minutes. Ideally, we hope to find a home for her with a spacious backyard and a family who has time to take her on a daily walk.”
