Type: Discosoma Mushroom

The Ironman mushroom is from the genus discosoma, or elephant ear mushrooms. Ironman mushrooms are striking and remarkably easy to care for compared to its close cousins like ricordea or rhodactis. This mushroom boasts an incredibly unique metallic red-golden hue, developing a subtle red ring on their edges when their ideal conditions are met. Like most mushrooms they will do best in nutrient rich water with occasional feeding. They prefer low to mid level lighting and low to medium flow. The Ironman mushroom has a medium growth rate and is very hardy.
