Extra special meaning today as Mendon Firefighters pay tribute to Officer LaPorta over Rt 146 as officers es**rt him back to Uxbridge.

To all our Law Enforcement Heroes: Your unwavering dedication to protecting our communities and selfless bravery in the face of danger inspires us all, thank you for your service.

For those who are wondering, the Mendon Fire Horrible Parade is scheduled to kick off July 3rd at 6:30pm. We will be gathering at the Parking Lot of Emerson St/Hastings St at 6-6:15pm. The plan is to march the old route down Maple St, ending at Town Hall.

We have great prizes from The Muffin House, The WooSox, Worcester Bravehearts, Worcester Railers, Providence Bruins, Pinz , Altitude Franklin, Southwicks Zoo and George’s Surf and Turf.

As always, hot dogs will be cooked by the Mendon Brothers of the Brush and an ice cream truck will provide cool treats. We hope to see everyone there!
