RR FRIENDS! We've taken a long break but we are back with a new logo and exciting news.
Our film Meeting A Monster, directed by our creator Gabriela Arp, will be premiering this Saturday, and running through April 28, at .
Meeting a Monster examines the memories and motivations of former white supremacist Angela King. Through audio recordings, re-enactments, and present-day footage, the film invites the viewer to experience both the decisions that lured Angela into the white power movement as well as the encounters that led her out. While the monsters Angela encounters and imagines define much of her path towards a mindset of bias and hate, she is unable to discover the path out until she encounters the ultimate monster — herself.
Get tickets here: http://bit.ly/2vuzHuY. Thank you Angela King, Oculus VR For Good Creators Lab and Life After Hate for making this possible!
Can't wait to see you all!

Our co-founder Andrea Patiño shares the story behind her latest project "The Dangers of Deportation" with Remezcla. The virtual reality film is on display from April 20-23 at Indie Grits Film Festival in Columbia, South Carolina. If you're at the festival, please take a moment to experience it.
"...What we see in In Danger of Deportation is strikingly quotidien: We walk through people’s homes as they feed their children, sweat with them in the hot sun as they tend to the land, and bite our nails, too, as they are at the mercy of lawyers and officials, who decide whether or not they can stay in the country. One such story concerns a woman named Diana, who received a deportation order by ICE five years ago...“Before election day I was very tense, worried,” she says in the video. “Thinking what to do. How would we survive if we had to go back?”

We are at a loss of words about the election results and are saddened and worried by the rise of a rhetoric of hatred that will likely affect many minorities and vulnerable communities across the country, not to mention many of the policies that could go into effect in the coming years.
We are committed to continue working on projects that shed light in the dark places and foster difficult conversations. We know that this is more important than ever and we will fight by collaborating with communities to ensure that their unique voices and experiences are heard.
Much love to everyone
