MCIL Peer Outreach Program
The Peer Outreach Program at the Memphis Center for Independent Living is designed to assist people with disabilities to reach their goals through a one-on-one peer mentoring relationship with other successful persons with disabilities.
Do you remember your favorite dish that your mother, grandmother, or whoever did the cooking in your family made that you don't get anymore? I remember my mom's tuna casserole and how much I liked it with the exception of the green onions. When four of POP's members recently got together they created an upcoming event called the Throwback Potluck. Stay tuned as this idea continues to be developed and don't forget to leave us your favorite Throwback meal.
10/17/2017
Peer Outreach Program members, Bryant Branch and Savannah Morris, walked across the Mighty Mississippi River to recognize and celebrate National White Cane Day.
