With incredible love comes incredible loss. We lost both of our baby girls back to back and that loss currently feels immense. But we were so lucky to have had even just one moment with Lucy and Opal. The kindness and love of a dog is something I will never take for granted and it’s a splendid encounter in an otherwise dark world that at times can feel like there’s no love anyone is willing to give. Opal and Lucy, I hope you both are having the best time playing in the garden together. We will miss you every day of our lives. Thank you so much for the smiles, the companionship and the unconditional love you gave us along the way. 🩷
