I’m originally from a working class neighborhood in Linden, New Jersey 07036, but was born and lived in Newark for some years. I spent my formative years chasing my identity through trial, tribulation and turmoil, including addiction, depression, alcohol use, and criminal activity. I found the strength to defy the struggles and earn a spot in the military where I honed my intellect and integrity.
