We're growing! π Join the LITE Memphis team as our Program Coordinator and help us scale our entrepreneurial programming with students.
As a Program Coordinator at LITE Memphis, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Director of Education & Operations in managing the Youth Entrepreneurship Program and other exciting initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
β
Internalize and implement LITEβs 16-week entrepreneurship curriculum
β
Plan and lead engaging program sessions and interactive community-based workshops
β
Provide individualized business coaching to a group of 20-30 student-entrepreneurs, including weekly 1:1 progress monitoring check-ins
β
Coordinate detailed, weekly action steps for each student based on check-ins
β
Support program participants in developing their ideas or businesses
β
Conduct periodic progress monitoring check-ins with participants
β
Deliver curriculum and facilitate weekly program sessions
As the Community Engagement and Recruitment Manager, you will be crucial in amplifying our mission and engaging with the community.
Your responsibilities will include:
β
Implement a thorough and strategic recruitment strategy for each program semester
β
Create engaging outreach materials and utilize various channels, including social media, community events, and school partnerships, to promote LITE Memphis programs
β
Conduct informational sessions, workshops, and presentations to effectively communicate program benefits and unique opportunities to potential participants
β
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including educators, community leaders, and parents, to ensure a wide-reaching and impactful recruitment effort
β
Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics, refining strategies for continuous improvement and greater program reach
β
Build and nurture relationships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to enhance outreach efforts. - planning and executing events that foster community engagement and support the goals of LITE Memphis
β
Develop initiatives to connect LITE Memphis program participants, families, and alumni with essential community resources supporting holistic well-being
Requirements:
β
2+ years of experience working with high school students and/or within the community setting
β
Weekend availability
β
Attention to detail
β
Strong organizational habits
β
Ability to manage small and large projects and achieve ambitious goals
β
Creative problem-solving abilities to assist students in overcoming project challenges
β
Effective communication skillsβbeing persistent and goal-driven while maintaining a balanced approach
In addition, we value diversity and cultural competence. You'll have the opportunity to work with individuals of BIPOC communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those from various socioeconomic and religious backgrounds. π
