were surprised at how many other riders were in the same restaurant, and what a great complement Boscos’ culture was to the Memphis cycling community. We realized that there were Boscos locations the same three markets as three major Mid-South cycling events, two of which are fundraisers for MS research. Organizing a group of cyclists would be a great way to raise money and have a lot of fun this year.”

“Boscos is excited to not only have our first cycling team, but a team committed to riding for a very important cause,” said Boscos Brewing Company Director Marketing Suzanne Williamson. “Having this unique opportunity to raise money for multiple sclerosis sealed the deal for us. Jason and Kerry approached us at the perfect time. We look forward to being a part of this energetic group of riders and are very proud to have them represent our restaurants.”

Boscos Cycling also enjoys the support of Memphis’ Victory Bicycle Studio as their exclusive shop sponsor.

“When we heard about the formation of a new cycling team in town, whose main objective was to raise money for multiple sclerosis, we became emphatically interested,” says Victory owner Clark Butcher. “We have never sponsored a team, and had a store policy that we would never sponsor a local team. We decided to make an exception for Boscos Cycling, as their mission was so clearly defined, and the group was so committed. We are proud to share sponsorship roles with Boscos to better serve this great group of cyclists.”

Each member of Boscos Cycling is charged with raising a minimum of $1,000. Both Boscos and Victory will be raising additional funds through in-store promotions and activities. All fundraising supports the search for a cure for multiple sclerosis (MS), a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another. Over 8,800 individuals throughout Tennessee, northern Mississippi and eastern Arkansas are impacted by MS.
