One by One Ministries is looking for volunteers to help make the day meaningful and impactful. This special event, at Kirby Woods Baptist Church, is designed to love on and support moms in our community with encouragement, resources, and a Christ-centered experience.

Pastor Steve and his wife, Donna Gaines, were longtime supporters of One by One Ministries. Their love for the Lord and their heart for serving others made a lasting impact on our mission to mentor and support new and expecting mothers. We are deeply grateful for the encouragement, prayers, and generosity they extended to our organization over the years.

Please join us in lifting Donna and the entire Gaines family in prayer during this difficult time. We trust in the Lord’s faithfulness to bring comfort, peace, and strength in the days ahead.

It’s with a heavy heart that we share with you the passing of our beloved Pastor Emeritus, Dr. Steve Gaines. After a two-year long battle with cancer, Bro. Steve stepped into eternity earlier this afternoon, and he is now fully healed in the presence of the Lord.

Please join us as we lift the entire Gaines family up in prayer during this difficult time. The Lord is faithful, and we trust in His goodness to be near Donna and the family and encourage them every day. Thank you for praying with us for Bro. Steve’s family.

The funeral will take place in the Worship Center at Bellevue Baptist Church this Sunday, March 22, at 6 p.m., and a visitation will be held at 4 p.m. We will also livestream the service.

“We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, concerning those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, in the same way, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.” 1 Thessalonians 4:13–14
