Youth in the City of Memphis Office of Youth Servicesβ I Am Included Program created vision boards to welcome 2026 with intention and inspiration.

π Community Service Spotlight β November Highlights! π
This month, our I Am Included program proudly continued our mission of service, inclusion, and community support. π
Throughout November, our participants and team rolled up their sleeves to make a real difference!
π₯« Donated canned goods to help families in need during the holiday season.
π Supported the MIFA Mobile Food Pantry, assisting with food distribution to ensure our neighbors have access to nutritious meals.
π¦ Participated in MIFA indoor preparation efforts, helping organize and pack essential items for community distribution.
We are so grateful for the dedication of our participants and the generosity of our supporters who make these acts of service possible for all. Together, we continue to build a stronger, more inclusive Memphis. πͺπ½β€οΈ

ππ Fall Fun with a Purpose β A Huge Success! ππ
Late October the City of Memphis Office of Youth Services I Am Included Program, in partnership with the University of Memphis Tiger Life Program hosted an unforgettable Fall Festival to wrap up National Disability Employment Awareness Month and what a celebration it was! πβ¨
πThe event brought together inclusive youth, families, and community leaders for an evening filled with games, music, food, costumes, and connection all part of the empowering I Am Included initiative. π
π The MOYS World Junior Barbecue League served up delicious food.
πΆ Music, local vendors, and festive costumes lit up the evening
π€ Special guests such as MIFA (Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association), Amigo Community Center, Special Assistant Director Brian Harris, members of the Memphis Advisory Council for Citizens with Disabilities, A Step Ahead, The Arc Mid-South , Goodwill, Memphis-Shelby County Schools - MSCS and more all showed their support for inclusion and accessibility
Thank you to everyone who came out and made this event so special. Together, we celebrated equity, community, and the power of inclusion! π

π¨ Last-minute call? No problem! πͺπ½
Our I Am Included youth showed up *bright and early* alongside their parents to support **MIFA Meals on Wheels** this morning and they did it with heart. β€οΈππ½
πΉYouth Volunteers inspected and prepped shelf-stable meals to ensure they were safe and ready for delivery to seniors in need.
This is what *service in action* looks like. Thank you to our incredible youth and families for stepping up when it mattered most! π
