Be part of the magic behind the curtain with Playhouse on the Square! 🎭 Ushers play an essential role in creating a welcoming and seamless experience for every guest from the moment they arrive until the final curtain call.

Volunteers will assist with distributing programs, helping patrons find their seats, and tidying up light litter in the theater after each performance. Your support helps ensure every show runs smoothly and every guest enjoys their visit to one of Memphis’ premier theater spaces.

Lace up and make a difference with the Youth Villages Runner’s Club! 🏃💙 This ongoing volunteer opportunity gives you the chance to encourage and connect with youth in residential treatment programs through weekly training runs and monthly 5K races.

Volunteers run or walk alongside youth while helping build confidence, healthy relationships, and important social skills. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or simply enjoy being active and encouraging others, your support can make a lasting impact in a young person’s life.

Support local refugee families by volunteering with the Refugee Empowerment Program as a **Nursery Care Volunteer**! 🧸💙 While parents attend English classes, computer training, and citizenship preparation courses, volunteers help care for and nurture their little ones in a safe and welcoming environment.

Volunteers provide support through play, care, and encouragement for infants and young children during adult education classes. Your time helps ease separation anxiety for families while giving parents the opportunity to gain valuable skills and build brighter futures.
