There are many family attorneys who are NOT educated on ACEs trauma , which does not fully make them educated for them to do their jobs correctly to help clients make the proper decisions to stop trauma during the divorce process. Divorce is one of the main traumas ( adverse childhood experiences). Ask yourself , why would anyone in family law not have this education when it’s is offered to them in the CLE ( continuing legal education ) under the Board of Professional Responsibility. If anyone is creating any of the traumas on children or fueling the ACEs in adults —using children in the process to create parental alienation or any more damage or trauma on children and the family — you need to learn your rights ! Hire attorneys that are capable, knowledgeable, and avoid those that are trying to destroy children and the entire family in the process just to profit off of trauma and craft trauma. Divorce should not be handled in the capacity to create trauma on children —or destroy either party —especially by attorneys nor clients ! 

Domestic violence is just not physical , it’s emotional, verbal and financial — more trauma inflicted on clients and children should be restricted ! Contact the Board of Professional  Responsibility to file complaint or to learn more about attorney ethical practice!

HB 2588 law passed in 2020, now requires ACEs education during the parenting class for divorcing parents.
