We're wishing you a very happy New Year, Melrose!
In observance of New Year’s Day, City Hall, the City Yard and the Milano Center will close early on Wednesday, December 31 at 12:30 p.m. and be closed on Thursday, January 1. Melrose public safety buildings will remain open throughout the holiday. City offices will resume regular operational hours on Friday, January 2, 2026. Please note that the Milano Center will be closed for building repairs until January 7, 2026.
Curbside trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day on Thursday, January 1 and Friday, January 2, and curbside Christmas tree collection by the Department of Public Works will take place during the weeks of January 5 and January 12 on regular curbside collection days.
