• Foreclosure/REO Sales are up 12.5% with 9 closed sales and a median sales price of $220,000.

What this means:

• Traditional Sales are up 19.0% with a median sales price of $269,500.
• Foreclosure/REO Sales are down -50.0% with 1 closed sale and a median sales price of $108,000.
• Short Sale Closings are N/A with 1 closed sale and a median sales price of $212,500.
What this means:
The Brevard County townhouse and condo market showed strong activity in February, with more properties closing and a notable increase in cash purchases. U.S. December Existing Home Sales Increase 5.1% Late-year sales activity showed renewed momentum nationwide as mortgage rates eased and price growth slowed, according to the National Association of Realtors.
We had a little uptick in November, no doubt the rate cut. I noticed it as well. I hope it holds but pending sales are down again so we will have to see what the post holiday season brings.

November Townhome and Condo Market Check:
