forming acoustically in church and then local spots. She made the switch to electric guitar and played in a number of cover and original bands before moving to the Mid-Atlantic area in the early '90s. There she founded the all-girl punk/pop band Scarlet O and then the regionally successful rock band Mommi Im Scared. She switched back to acoustic performances before once again forming bands including Ros Wilting and most recently, PlantFace, where she sang and played bass. Sparrow has moved back to her home state, settling in the Melbourne area, and is once again out and about performing solo.
