We have 6 pillars that make up our magazine. One being music. The bands, The shows, The Scene, The Industry and the joy of playing it.. We are currently looking for a passionate freelance writer/gonzo that wants to go to some shows (twice a month or more) and interview select bands and artists for LiveWire Magazine. This person must have his or her own transportation, unique ideas and the follow through to meet a deadline. Must have a great personality and a good sense of humor. Must be over 21. Gotta be flexible with the ability to adapt when needed. Gotta have writing skills. No Chat GBT or AI BS! All submissions will need little to no editing and humbly ready and willing to take constructive feedback from the team and embrace other ideas. However you should also have the balls and passion to stand up for your work and the ability to sell your story to the team if need be. Willing to coordinate time with photographers working together to get the right shots necessary for the story. Use imagination and be creative! For most shows music press passes are provided. Keep in mind you will be representing the magazine, so we expect you to be kind and show respect to the subject and its host by knowing your stuff. Serious Inquires Only, Please Don't DM me if you have little to no real knowledge of music, bands of the past , present, and the industry that is constantly evolving.
"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side." Hunter S Thompson
