Monday night was a proud moment for Media Borough as seven newly elected officials were officially sworn in — including our new Mayor Joi Washington, five Borough Council members: Emilia del Grosso, Taylor Dunn, Jen Malkoun, Mark Paikoff and Elizabeth Romaine, and our Tax Collector, Katey McVerry.

Thank you to everyone who came out to witness this important milestone and to celebrate the leaders chosen to serve our community. Your support and engagement make moments like this possible.

Congratulations to all who took the oath of office. We wish you the very best as you begin your terms — the work starts now, and Media’s future is in good hands.❤️

🗳️ Media Voter Turnout — Initial Results Are In!

We’re proud to share that voter turnout in Media Borough continues to rise on “off” years— and this year was one of our strongest yet! 🙌

✅ 2025 Turnout: 55%
✅ 2023 Turnout: 47%
✅ 2021 Turnout: 44%

This year, Democratic turnout outpaced Republicans by roughly 3 to 1, showing that when our community comes together, we can make a real difference up and down the ballot. 💙

These numbers are still being finalized, but one thing is clear: Media shows up.
