What a year we’ve had!! Come out to DiFabio’s Market and Tap on Saturday April 11th from 6-10 for the annual Spring Fling!

We’ll be bringing back DJ Derrick from Xzotic Enterprises Inc. There’ll be a silent auction and raffle too.

The cost is $40 per person. Bob Fyfe accepts check, cash and Venmo (-Fyfe-9). The per person cost includes buffet dinner, dessert, regular Fun Run awards (for those who participated in 10 or more fun runs in 2025), bonus top 10 Fun Run awards (for the top 10 people with most attendances) and a cash bar.

Approximately 70 runners and walkers participated in the Delco RRC 35th annual Volkswanderung on 11/27/2025 (Thanksgiving morning!) at Ridley Creek State Park!

Over $1,000 was raised and will be donated to two local food banks.

Commemorative embroidered baseball style caps were given to all participants.

The 4.3 mile prediction run saw 47 runners compete for the 26 donated pies that were awarded to the best predictors. Results shown below.

The Delco 10 Miler is coming up on Sunday, Sept 28, 2025, and we’re looking for awesome volunteers to help out on race day! 🎽

Be a course marshal and cheer on runners as they make their way from Rose Tree Park to Subaru Park! Report to your assigned post by 7:30, cheer on the runners and then by 9:30 it’s off to the post-race party 🎉🍻 at Subaru Park — complete with FREE food & beer!

Let’s make the inaugural race unforgettable!

August 2, 2025 - we set a fun run attendance record for the Media Fun Run: 17 runners! Thanks to Mark for the photo and Theresa for sending it in!

Calling all members and friends with children under age 18!!  DelcoRRC and SRA are hosting the annual Youth Developmental Track meet on Saturday June 7th!! No experience is necessary, the kids can just come out and try the track and field events (and win medals and ribbons!!).

Details:

All children 18 and under are welcome. The races will begin at approximately 9 AM. The track meet will have no entry fee. Walk up registrations only!  Events at the track meet include a 100 meter, 200 meter, 400 meter, 800 meter, 1600 meter runs, a 4x100 meter relay, a 4 x 400 meter relay, softball throw and long jump.
Volunteers will be needed to handle registration, the start/finish lines, timers, and measuring the long jump and softball throw. The track meet is held at the Strath Haven Middle School track from 8:00 AM to approximately 1PM, with the first event for kids at 9:15. There is also an open mile at 9:00 for ALL ages (for the parents too!) so get a good workout and then hang around to volunteer.

The 26th annual Fireside on 2/22/2025 at Wissahickon HS brought out many runners, family and friends. This is a super speedy competitive race (winning time was 25:34), and is the kick-off event of the 2025 MidAtlantic USATF Grand Prix. So multitudes of congrats for all our age group winners!!!
