Before we left for our Idaho trip I had the opportunity to photograph a maternity session for this amazing couple. The softness of a black and white image of a couple is a beautiful thing. The contrast between the dark and light tones creates a sense of depth and dimension, while the lack of color allows the viewer to focus on the emotion of the image. The couple's faces are close together, and their eyes are closed. They seem to be lost in each other's embrace, and their love is palpable. The image is a reminder of the power of love, and the beauty that can be found in even the simplest of moments.

A beautiful baby girl from last Wednesday's session. I look at this sweet face and just my heart just melts. In the third picture- just switching the color of a bow in a black and white makes a lovely difference.
