💛 Choosing kindness, always 💛

This week, something unfortunate happened in our neighborhood. The Pineglen Treat Shack—a sweet, thoughtful place for dogs and their humans—had its entire container of treats taken.

At Kindness For A Cause we would love to support our neighbor and show them that kindness can show up in a big way. Can my fellow Kindness Warriors please consider a way to brighten the day of people who do so much good?

Sometimes bad things happen. And sometimes it seems like the easiest thing to do is to give up on being kind. But when life is at it’s darkest, I choose kindness. Because the truth is—when something bad happens, it’s easy to pull back… to give less… to protect our hearts by hardening them.

But the only thing that drives out hate is love.
And sometimes, when people deserve love the least is when they need it the most.

Kindness doesn’t stop when it’s tested.
If anything… that’s when it matters most.
