Apply today to this internship opportunity with Professor Edmund Ghareeb to gain valuable research experience focused on Middle East history and politics, U.S. foreign policy and media coverage.

Dr. Ghareeb is a Lebanese-American scholar at the American University in Washington and a professor at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. He earned a BA from the American International College and an MA and a PhD from Georgetown University.

The internship will provide a great opportunity to advance research skills by providing assistance and support for a leader in the field. This internship is unpaid, 15-20 hours a week, and open to both graduate and undergraduate students.

Eligibility Requirements:
Program participants must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years or older before the first day of the program, and meet at least one of the three following criteria:

- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college, community college, or university (two- to four-year institution).

- Graduated from an accredited undergraduate or graduate program at a college, community college, or university (two- to four-year institution) no more than two years prior to the first day of the EOP Internship Program.

- A veteran of the United States Armed Forces who possesses a high school diploma or its equivalent and has served on active duty, for any length of time, no more than two years prior to the first day of the EOP Internship Program.
