Niceson Karungi, Synergy’s eJustice Expert, participated as a panelist at the African Law and Tech (ALT) Summit 2026 in the discussion “The Future of Practice: AI, Access to Justice, and the AI-Assisted Lawyer.”

The discussion explored how artificial intelligence and digital justice systems are transforming legal practice and judicial services across Africa, while addressing critical issues of transparency, due process, confidentiality, accountability, and equitable access to justice.

Niceson shared Synergy’s experience in eJustice, highlighting how Integrated Electronic Case Management Systems (IECMS) can expand access to justice while protecting sensitive proceedings and judicial integrity.

As AI adoption accelerates, the future of justice must remain human-centered, ethical, transparent, accountable, and accessible to all. At Synergy, responsible AI for judicial practice remains at the core of what we do.
