Congratulations to Chris Hill, a fiscal conservative, for a solid win Tuesday. Several groups popped up in the primaries with a lot more rhetoric than substance - it's good they didn't fair well in the polls.

If anyone was influenced by "Conservative Republicans of Texas" PAC's endorsement of Phillip Huffines, BE AWARE it was apparently paid for. According to Huffines' campaign finance report the cost was $50K. (Pol Adv. paid for by Small Gov. Texas.)

We are seeing some negative ads against Ken Paxton related to his bid for Attorney General. Although we consider transparency the cornerstone of honorable government, these ads offer NO details to review and only make vague insinuations. What we know for certain about Senator Paxton is that his voting record for protecting Texans is impeccable. He has consistently voted for tough crime laws, reasonable taxes, and restricting the overreach of government. To the best of our knowledge, his law practice in McKinney has a solid reputation. We strongly encourage your vote for Ken Paxton for Attorney General.
